nursery progress.

So we went and picked up the furniture yesterday! My sis went with us to help out since I can't lift any of that stuff. Took us quite a bit longer than I anticipated, but I'm so glad it's over with and all set up now!

Here's how it looks as of this morning. I'm going to wait a while to put up the tree decals, just because they say it's best to wait if you have freshly painted a room. I don't want the paint to peel off when we take them down in the future, just because I wanted to rush things.











When we were at the furniture store yesterday picking up our stuff, B saw the huge stuffed tiger and decided he had to have it for his son. I thought it was pretty cute that he honed in on that and wanted it for his son so badly. So we got it. He's pretty pleased with the fact that it's not turquoise too, haha.

I still need to get a little side table for next to the recliner. And I plan to get new shades and curtains at some point too. But we've got time, so I'll probably wait to get those things. I'm just so glad it finally looks like a nursery now!
