And I guess they decided to switch the pictures to monthly pictures. So baby Nate will actually be the size of a papaya up until 24 weeks. They give the range of 21-24 weeks for this picture.
Anyways, I finished up his wall letters for the nursery yesterday. I bought them unpainted at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and couldn't decide how I wanted to decorate them. Finally, I just decided to do something simple. So I painted them with the leftover turquoise paint from when I painted our dining room months ago. Then I got some white/silvery puffy paint and just did little dots all around the edges.

And they actually have a flat edge on the bottom, so they can stand on their own. I'm thinking I may stand them on a small shelf above the crib rather than figure out a way to hang them on the wall.
I'm happy with the way they turned out. Although when I showed B, he wrinkled up his nose at me and said they were too girly. I don't see how they're too girly, it's not like I painted flowers on them or something. Although he has been complaining lately that turquoise is a "girl" color and that I should have done the nursery in more manly colors. Like brown and maroon. Yeah. I don't think so.
So I told him that Nate can always pick something else when he's older. But for now, and for a baby boy, I think the colors are fine. Hmph.
Well I think they came out adorable!! Great job!
