beta #3 is in.

It was 4920. Right on track. Thanks to the handy dandy obsessive complusive online beta calculator that I'm sure was created by an IFer like me, I was able to determine that my doubling time was 45 hours between my last beta and this one. Sounds good to me, since they look for anything in the 48-72 hour range.

So no more betas for me. And I am officially going in for my first u/s next Thursday, May 21. The nurse managed to talk me into it somehow. According to her, I will be 6w5d then, which is plenty of time to see a heartbeat. And if things aren't looking good that day, then I guess it's better to know sooner rather than later.

So until then, I will continue panicking. Because that's just what I do.

  1. yea!!!!! i am only telling you b/c i don't want you to freak.........but 6wk5days is not enough to "def. see a heart beat." i wouldn't wait-there is a good chance-but i didn't. that's all i am saying. but! you will be able to see that things are right on track. i've heard that until your beta hit 20,000 you can't see a lot.

    looking forward to june!!
