So out of the 19 they retrieved, 16 were mature, and 13 fertilized and are "ongoing" according to my nurse. I am SO relieved! I have 13 embabies right now! OMG!
The nurse said they are all looking really good and that pending any unforeseen circumstances, she will call me again Thursday afternoon with an update. She said transfer will either happen Friday or Saturday.

ReplyDeleteOops. I was so excited about your fertilization report that I forgot to mention that. I had 8 eggs retrieved, which is the same as my last cycle (I hate that I have had another cycle, but that's another story). I have had issues in the past with maturation of the eggs... Only about half were mature last time. So I am hoping that the fertilization report tomorrow has a higher percentage of mature eggs. The worry never ends. sigh.
ReplyDeleteThe cycle this time used a different protocol (MDL) vs antagonist in the prior cycle, so I am hoping that helps.
Like I said, Ashley.. everything is going so well for you. I am keeping my fingers crossed for both of us.
