We got there a little bit before 10am, but I had to run upstairs and request to use the bathroom before I peed my pants. That was literally the closest I have ever come to peeing my pants as an adult! See, they ask that your bladder be full for the ET because it helps the doc visualize your uterus on the u/s machine as he's doing the transfer. So of course I drank some Gatorade before we left but holy cow, I was in some pain by the time we got there. Luckily, they let me empty it a little once we got there, and then they took me right back.
Doc recommended that we transfer 2, so that's what we did. Both of them were at the blast stage, which is perfect for this point, and he even gave us pictures of them. He told us we still have 5 other blasts, along with 3 others they are still watching but that aren't quite blasts yet, for a total of 8. He said I will get a call by Monday letting me know how many made it to freeze.
All in all, he said we are looking at a 50-60% chance of this working. Hey, that works for me, considering he had told us before that the odds of us getting pg on our own with no intervention was around 3%.
So it's been a good day. And now I'm just resting on the couch, hoping these little ones snuggle in for the long haul.
YAY!!! You are offically PG right now until proven otherwise..take it easy and cant wait to see your BFP sometime next week : )
