34 weeks.

I've decided that from now on, I will just take all my belly pics in the same outfit. It'll be easier that way, plus I don't usually remember to take the pic until I'm in my PJs anyways. Hey, comfort trumps everything at this point.

Thanksgiving was awesome. The food was great, I actually managed to avoid getting heartburn, which was a miracle, and having 4 days off was wonderful. I only wish it had been longer, but I will always say that. I can't believe it's December already either. And that I finally get to start telecommuting next week. I am SOOOO looking forward to that. Hello PJ pants and slippers, goodbye work clothes!

I had my usual OB appointment last week and I think I must have gotten the most inept nurse practitioner ever. Or maybe I was just moody, who knows. Regardless, I didn't get to see my regular nurses or doctor. Instead, I got to see a nurse that decided it was necessary to make me lay flat on my back just to hear the baby's heartbeat with the doppler. Which, by the way, my usual nurses haven't made do since I was like 20 weeks since it can get rather uncomfortable that way. Then I got to see a lovely NP that essentially told me I'm gaining too much weight. And she measured my belly to be 3 weeks smaller than it had been measuring 2 weeks before. Without so much of a mention of that being strange. So yeah, I was annoyed to say the least. Thank goodness I will get to see one of the regular docs next week. Then we'll have a growth u/s on the 16th.

Before I go, I just want to brag about my parents for a minute and to let the world know how much I love them. I probably don't tell them this enough. But they have been so generous to us (actually, all throughout my life, not just during this pregnancy, but that's a whole 'nother story) and I really do appreciate all that they do for us. So thank you Mom and Dad, for your never-ending generosity, love, and support!
