37 weeks.

I find myself feeling very lazy these last few weeks. I almost didn't even bother to take a belly pic, but then I thought no, I would regret it later if I didn't take any more from this point on. I mean, I only have 2 more weeks to go. Eek!

So here is my 37 week belly. Size wise, it doesn't look that much different from the past few weeks to me. Although I have noticed what I think are a few stretch marks on the underside of my belly. I can only see them when I'm standing naked in front of a mirror and looking for them though. Which takes quite a bit of effort these days.

I had my usual OB appointment yesterday too. I really wanted to ask my doc some questions about the upcoming c-section, but turns out she got called away for another patient, so I had to see the inept NP again. I swear that woman is useless. She again measured my belly smaller than usual and then after grabbing my stomach a bit (quite painfully I might add), told me he was head down. Yeah, I trust her judgement on that one about thismuch, so I just ignored her. The nurse had also measured his heartbeat in the 170s while I was there, which I thought was odd. It hasn't been that high for a few months now. But because I had the inept NP, I didn't ask her about it.

In hindsight, I should have. Because instead I just stressed out about it all night instead. And google is never your friend in those situations. So I called the office back first thing this morning and they let me come back in so they could check him again. One of the other docs recommended they hook me up to the monitor for a bit for a NST, so that's what we did. Thankfully, all is okay. Evidently, he is just active in there. But they saw all the peaks and valleys in his heart rate that they like to see during a NST. And his baseline heart rate is in the 150s, so that's good. The monitor was also able to capture that I was having contractions as well. But none of them are strong or regular enough to do much. Really, they're just the usual BH I've been having. It's nice to know that at this point, nothing needs to be done to stop them though. Now that I'm full term and all. :)
