another craigslist score.

So as I mentioned the other day, I am now officially obsessed with Craigslist. Last night, I managed to score a brown leather Lazyboy rocker/recliner for our nursery. And for a great price too!

It's in great condition, only a few years old, and is exactly what I've been looking for. I thought about doing the traditional glider and was even surprised by how comfortable some of them were when I checked them out at BabiesRUs. But the more I thought about it, the more I wanted a traditional recliner that we could then switch to another room once the baby was older. Plus, Lazyboys last forever, so I figured we would get plenty of life out of it.

Funny how I'm so excited about a chair! Or maybe it's the idea of slowly but surely putting together a nursery. I laid out the baby clothes, shoes, and diaper bag on the bed in the room we plan on using, and now we've got the horse jumperoo in one corner and the Lazyboy in the other. I peek my head in that room every morning just to look at everything. Because sometimes I still don't feel like it's really real yet.

Plus, seeing actual baby items in my house, of all houses, makes me smile.
