stroller score.

I tried to hold off as long as I could. I really did. But the shopping bug finally bit me and I started obsessing about strollers. I was doing some research the other day and determined that I really liked the Uppa Baby Vista model. It had all the features I wanted, plus it's really cute! It's pretty pricey though, at around $700 brand new. Right up there with the trendy Bugaboos.

So I decided to check out eBay and Craigslist. I struck out on eBay. There were only brand new ones for sale on there and they were all the same original price. So then I checked Craigslist. No go there too. Then C, the greatest friend in the whole wide world, mentioned that I should check Craigslist where she lives too. Low and behold, there was one for sale! And for half price!

She went and checked it out for me yesterday and gave her seal of approval. It's in really good condition and some of the accessories have never even been used! So she purchased it for me (I'm reimbursing her of course) and is going to hold on to it for me until we see each other again. I'm so excited! I'm now the proud owner of a stroller! My first EVER! Woohoo!

    WHO is this amazing friend? : ) Rest assured that it is safely bagged up in my garage and i not only told k not to touch it--but made him repeat back to me what i told him to be sure he understood. : ) NOBODY messes with my good friend's stroller!
