i feel like shit.

Just got back from our vacation to Canada yesterday and what do you know, now I've got the flu today.  I feel like absolute shit.  And I'm here all by myself until Monday because that's how much longer B is staying in Canada.  I hate being alone, especially when I'm sick.

Believe it or not, I forced myself to go to my RE appt this morning at 7:30 am.  It was an u/s and b/w to see if I could stop the BCPs and start the Follistim.  I asked the nurse about my flu and whether or not it would affect things and she said she would check with the RE.  

Anyways, she called me back this afternoon and told me that because I have a fever, the RE wants me to continue the BCPs for 2 more weeks.  She said everything else looked good and quiet, that the BCPs were doing their job, but they didn't want my fever and flu affecting things.  Otherwise I would be starting Follistim on Friday.

I got to thinking about it later today though and I'm wondering if 2 weeks isn't a bit excessive.  Why not just have me continue them for one more week?  So I left her a message asking if I could do one week instead.  We'll see what she says tomorrow.
