i'm excited.

I think I've finally figured out my camera. I have this fancy DSLR that I love, but for some reason couldn't figure out how to take the extreme close ups that I like. My favorites are when something specific in the picture is in focus (like an eye, nose, or toe) and then everything else is not. It just gives it a cool perspective IMO.

I had gotten a new lens at Christmas and took a few good ones then, but with Nate arriving and then mommyhood taking over, I just forgot how. But alas, I tooled around with it long enough the other day that I finally figured it out again. Hey, I don't claim to be a photography expert, I just like to dabble in it.
